The Denver County Fair is the brain child of two leaders in the Denver Art Community … Dana Cain and Tracy Weil. Our goal is to re-invent the notion of “County Fair” art, and show what Denver’s Art Scene is made of!

Art Competition entries may also be for SALE! Just indicate the price, and we'll manage the sale for you. 

*Art Exhibits need to be delivered in person to the National Western Stock Show Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, CO 80216.

Drop off art work Wednesday, August 7th, from 3pm-7pm only. Art is limited to 48” wide, any length unless prior approval is obtained by the Art Pavilion Manager and Competition Director.

a. All crop materials must be grown in Colorado.
b. Accepted materials include the seeds, stems, heads and fruiting bodies of: oats, 
wheat, barley, flax, rye, corn, soybeans, field beans, sunflowers, buckwheat, field 
peas, millets, safflower, sorghum, sugar beet, sudan grass, common forage 
grasses, clovers, alfalfa and wild rice. The seeds and dried fruiting structures of 
any vegetable or flower plants as well as forest, trees or shrub plant parts are 
also allowed.
c. All Crop Art entries must have a 4x6 legend card attached. All seeds used must 
be listed with a seed sample. This allows judges and spectators to identify the 
types of seeds used in the artwork.

Arts Pavilion Team: Kym Bloom and Mark Penner-Howell. Kym and Mark are two leaders in the Denver Art Community.  Kym, Art Pavilion manager, owns and operates Kanon Collective gallery on Santa Fe Drive. She is very experienced at curating and managing open shows. Visit www.kanonart.com.

Mark, our Art Gallery Manager, is one of Denver's leading artists. Currently represented by Walker Fine Art, he has also won "Best Solo Show" awards in Westword Best of Denver (People's Choice) and the Art District Best of 2010 awards.
